According to the Delta Electronics, the second-generation model offers the same output as its predecessor and a peak efficiency of 99.1 per cent, but at 71.5 decibels, it operates much more quietly.
It is suitable for input voltages between 860 and 1,500 volts DC with short-term voltage peaks of 1,600 volts. Up to 20 strings can be connected via connectors. The maximum efficiency of 99.1 per cent ensures high yields.

Since the new inverter can accept higher input voltages, the current intensity is reduced. For installers, this means a smaller cable cross-section and thus less energy loss.
The cooling system combines natural flow with noise-reduced active ventilation. The M125HV Gen2 has IP65 protection and uses type 2 surge protectors on the input and output sides. The elimination of electrolytic capacitors also extends the service life of the unit. (mfo)
