Much of Sungrow’s success comes from the company’s commitment to providing world-class PV inverters to meet the growing demands of green energy. This commitment is reflected by focusing on innovation with the world’s largest R&D team in the renewable sector. The company continues its exponential growth, with Europe becoming one of its most important PV markets. The workforce in Europe has meanwhile risen to more than 250 employees by mid-2022.
Powerful string inverters for both hilly and flat terrains
As one of the flagship latest innovations, the SG350HX has garnered much attention and has secured many orders since its debut. The 352kW compact inverter offers up to 16 maximum power point tracking (MPPT) inputs, each supporting up to 40A and making it totally compatible with new high-power modules. The 1500V (DC) device can function in altitudes up to 4,000 meters, be it installed on equal levels or steep areas. Offering a lower LCOE due to saving Saves 1.8 million $/100MW the SG350HX is a very economic update in the string inverter system solutions family. The grid connection-friendly inverter is now being certified and available in Europe by the latest end of this year.
Maximum yields with the strongest inverter in the industry so far
One of the challenges to inverter suppliers is matching the requirements of high-powered large-format panels. The SG350HX is highly compatible with 182 mm and 210 mm large-format high-efficiency bifacial modules with a maximum input current of 20A for each string. This allows using solar modules with power ratings of 600W and higher.
Equipped with multiple MPPTs, the 352 kW inverter ensures a high yield despite any impact of shade. It supports a single block design as large as 8.96 MW for the European market and supports a high DC/AC ratio of up to 1.8, making it an ideal solution for higher yields.
Sungrow is becoming a system provider more and more
Sungrow has greatly differentiated and technologically developed its product range in recent years and is increasingly focusing on complete systems. PV inverters of all size classes are available, from 2 kW string inverters to the new modular inverter with a maximum capacity of 8.8 MW the 1+X Modular Inverter in the storage segment a liquid-cooled DC-DC converter storage inverter with 2.7 MWh that can be expanded modularly to over 5 MWh. The portfolio is rounded up by batteries in all size classes, smart meters, EV chargers, and monitoring and energy management systems that Sungrow develops and manufactures in-house.
