By far the largest robot ever created by SolarCleano, the B1 can be equipped with brushes of up to 6 metres in length, increasing the cleaning capacity by 3 times compared to current state-of-the-art solutions. The robot is able to adapt, navigate and clean with a speed up to 40m/min. It can tackle a wide range of installations with fix tilt or equipped with trackers of an inclination from 0° to 34° with ease. The SolarCleano B1 is all-electric. Uninterrupted operation is achieved by combining a battery up to 8h autonomy with a battery level observer that decides when the robot should drive autonomously back to its charging station.

The cleaning and operational status of the robot can be remotely tracked by the I&M team of the plant through dedicated SolarCleano web and mobile apps. With incorporated AI and a combination of proprioceptive and exteroceptive type sensors for its perception and localisation, the robot can automatically adapt to the height and inclination of any solar installations, ensuring a predefined pressure on panels that will always remain constant, avoiding risks of damages. Programmed sessions will allow the robot to perform cleaning even at night-time. (mfo)
