Following the success of the 2024 conference in Rome, the 31st edition of the 2025 conference is now coming to a place with a long tradition of CSP research: Almería has been researching and working on CSP since the early 1980s in order to increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the technologies.

Hybrid power plants that combine solar thermal power plants with PV are becoming increasingly important. This is because CSP power plants can buffer the heat in thermal storage units. After sunset, this is then available for power generation. By combining the two solar technologies, controllable and low-cost green electricity can be generated.
Call for Papers: present a research project
The symposium is aimed at anyone working in the CSP sector with thermal and chemical energy systems. Would you like to take part and present your research project or innovation to an international audience of experts? Then take part in the Call for Papers. The deadline for submissions is 1 April.
