The two photovoltaic specialists were able to sell the rights for projects with a total nominal capacity of over 250 megawatts to a European investor for infrastructure projects. All projects are still being developed in-house by the two companies until they are ready for construction.
The two photovoltaic experts CCE, headquartered in Austria, and enernovum, based in Germany, have once again achieved a significant transaction success with their joint venture founded in Italy in 2017. After only a short negotiation period, project rights for Italian photovoltaic plants with a total nominal output of 254 megawatts were sold to a renowned European investor. The negotiations were accompanied by the law firm Dentons. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Green Power for Italy
Specifically, the acquired portfolio consists of ten photovoltaic plants, all of which will be built in Italy once construction is complete. All projects will be developed in-house by CCE and enernovum until they are ready for construction. The transaction is thus a perfect synergy of international capital and local development expertise. All companies have been active in the Italian PV market for many years.

Pleasing cooperation all along the line
With this successfully concluded transaction, CCE and enernovum once again emphatically prove that they are among the leading companies in the photovoltaic sector in Italy. "We are delighted to be able to realise our forward-looking projects in Italy with a committed European investor and professional partner," enthuse the two managing directors Martin Dürnberger and Jörg Menyesch. CCE and enernovum will continue to join forces even more in the future to develop and realise photovoltaic projects in Italy, but also in other countries in Europe and South America, in order to advance the energy transition and curb climate change.
