Around one gigawatt of new photovoltaic systems were installed in Sweden in 2024. This refutes the prejudice that solar power has no future at these latitudes. PV is on the rise in Sweden, both in private and commercial rooftop systems and in ground-mounted systems.
As in other areas, quality awareness is also high in photovoltaics in the Scandinavian country.
