At this year's trade fair for the building industry and architecture, BAU in Munich, climate protection and sustainable architecture as a solution are among the focal points. Because climate change affects all sectors of the economy, first and foremost and in two respects the building industry, is the reason given by the organisers for concentrating on this topic.

Solutions for climate-friendly construction
On the one hand, the construction industry must find solutions to make cities and buildings more robust against the consequences of climate change. On the other hand, it must also take the energy transition into account. After all, the aim is to achieve climate neutrality by 2045. That is why BAU 2023 will showcase solutions for environmentally and climate-friendly construction in all exhibition areas.
Manufacturers present solar modules and complete systems
Many manufacturers of building-integrated solar solutions are represented at the fair. The spectrum ranges from module manufacturers with the most diverse technologies to complete building energy concepts. Not only crystalline modules and thin-film panels are represented here. Organic photovoltaics, which can be integrated into building materials, are also present.
