A good PV system must withstand wind and weather. Above all, the right mounting system is crucial. It must be easy to install and flexible in its application. The new IBC AeroFix G3 fulfils all these requirements and is aerodynamically optimised for extreme stability even in storms.
The system can be easily adapted to the respective module type and even large modules can be used without any problems. Modules with lengths from 1500 to 2100 mm and widths from 980 to 1150 mm can be mounted on the new IBC AeroFix G3. A real plus point in times of ever-growing module sizes. At the same time, six different installation variants make the system extremely flexible and allows perfect adaptation to any roof.
The modules can be mounted both landscape and portait on the IBC AeroFix G3. Thanks to an integrated tilting joint in the AeroFix mounting support, the modules are aligned mechanically tension-free on the mounting system. This prevents tension in the module and eliminates the risk of cell damage and loss of performance.
For maximum convenience and cost-effectiveness, the IBC AeroFix G3 mounting system has wide base rails with pre-mounted construction protection mats and integrated cable ducts that can hold up to 28 6 mm² cables. This not only facilitates installation, but also saves time, costs and effort. In addition, the base rails offer a large contact surface and thus ensure low surface pressure and an even distribution of the load over the entire roof.
In addition to the wide base rails, it is also possible to use narrower, more cost-effective rails, for example in the case of lower ballasted modules or more stable roof areas. Also new to the IBC AeroFix G3 is the possibility to now combine wide and narrow base rails. This is not only another plus point in terms of flexibility but also particularly with cost-efficiency. At the same time, the roof is securely covered.
As with the previous models, only high-quality materials, such as aluminium and stainless steel, are used for the new IBC AeroFix G3, and all components are perfectly matched to each other. In this way, the system offers maximum stability and durability for all types of flat roofs, whether foil, bitumen, gravel, concrete or green roofs.
