The manufacturer, Marzari Technik from Leutkirch, promises that the metal plates can help to better avoid roof damage. Especially when snow loads on solar systems are very high in winter, the module support prevents the tiles from breaking and effectively protects the house roof from snow, ice and condensation. The reason: Many solar panels are incorrectly installed so that the roof tiles underneath can break and moisture or rainwater can no longer run off properly.
The Marzari support is available in 30 different versions and can therefore be attached to all common types of roofing. It is compatible with the substructures of all manufacturers and does not require a special adapter. In addition, the galvanised steel plate is equipped with a foam wedge, which ensures that the cladding remains intact and protects the building from the elements. (mfo)
