The new Aeroflat mounting system is an enhancement to the previously marketed version of the Aerofix system. It was specially developed for roof-parallel module mounting on inclined bitumen and foil roofs. According to IBC, the system can be installed without penetrating the roof membrane. It is specially designed for sloped bitumen and foil roofs in the commercial sector and can be used up to a maximum roof pitch of 30 degrees and a height of 35 metres.
The 18 centimetre wide bottom rails provide ample support surfaces. As a result, all loads are well distributed and there is only a low pressure load on the insulation and the roof foil. In addition, the system allows for variable spacing of the bottom rails. The IBC Aeroflat is now available from retailers. (mfo)
