The advantage: the system is a comparatively more cost-effective ballast solution because gravel is often already present on flat roofs and can simply be shovelled into the ballast troughs. It also has logistical advantages because no more slabs have to be ordered and transported. The ballast trays are made of corrosion-resistant steel and are designed and calculated according to the latest standards. They are suitable for flat roofs of commercial and residential buildings.
