Independent laboratory tests confirm that the yield can be increased by up to 20 per cent with bifacial modules on a light roof surface. For this purpose, Aerocompact has now developed a flat roof system for installation on green roofs.

With Compactflat GS, framed modules can be installed on foil and bitumen roofs as well as on concrete and gravel roofs. While Compactflat GS15 with a module inclination of 15 degrees is suitable for the installation of solar systems with a southern orientation, the manufacturer has designed the Compactflat GS10 Plus system with a module inclination of ten degrees for an east-west orientation. In addition, with a south orientation, no wind deflector is necessary to prevent the reflection of light.

Thanks to the distance to the roof surface of around 40 centimetres, the system is also well suited for green roofs. The company provides a 25-year warranty on the systems. (mfo)
