At this year's Intersolar Europe LivEye will be presenting monitoring solutions suitable for the solar industry. In Hall A4 at Booth 438, the security company will be providing information about the possibilities of energy self-sufficient protection against theft or sabotage and about different system variants: the video tower LivEye ProSolar, which is independent of power connections as well as hardware from Nestor, which can be permanently installed.

Solar power for solar power plants: LivEye ProSolar
Operators of PV parks are increasingly exposed to theft and vandalism. The areas are often secluded, making them even more vulnerable. The ProSolar solution uses surveillance cameras, artificial intelligence and a permanently manned control centre to protect defined risk zones around the clock - without being dependent on power connections. Three solar panels and a fuel cell supply the system with environmentally friendly energy.
Small and flexible: Nestor
LivEye
Thanks to its compact size, Nestor is suitable for flexible installation on walls, fences and masts; it does not require any additional networking infrastructure. Planned, installed and managed with software, operators can use it to protect sensitive outdoor and indoor areas with a combination of surveillance camera, AI motion filter, human control and app.

AI prevents false alarms
If the cameras detect anything suspicious, the AI-supported analysis software of the LivEye systems evaluates movement patterns. It filters out irrelevant objects such as animals or leaves. In case it detects vehicles and people, it triggers an alarm in the control centre. The trained staff in the 24/7 control centre in Germany react quickly in line with customer requests, for example by directly addressing intruders over a speaker or notifying the police. (mfo)
