Hungary’s growth potential

Hungary is actively pursuing measures to meet the EU’s emission reduction targets. The country aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40% and increase the share of renewable energy to 20% between 2021 and 2030. According to SolarPower Europe, Hungary’s proposed revision of its 2030 NECP target has doubled from 6.5 GW to 12 GW.
