Richard Brink: Flexible substructures also for green roofs

While the Flex version with variable module clamps in various sizes is now also available in a south-facing orientation, new elevations such as Miralux Green allow a combination of photovoltaics and green roofs for both new and existing buildings. This substructure is integrated directly into the green roof. The sedum mat and the granulate layer act as simultaneous ballasting.

All substructures are always available in two orientations: firstly, as a south-facing elevation for greater yield or as an east-west elevation for continuous energy generation throughout the day.

All variants have been aerodynamically optimised in wind tunnel tests and are therefore comparatively low in ballast. The series does not require any penetration of the roof cladding, integrated cable ducts ensure reliable cabling and subsequent expansion is also easy to realise thanks to the modular design. (mfo)
