The storage solution improves system performance and helps to stabilise the grid. The use of SiC mosfet semiconductors minimises losses during energy conversion. The converter thus achieves an efficiency of more than 99 per cent and has an output of 4.6 megawatts. Project developers and power plant operators thus benefit from a higher profitability of their projects.
At the same time, infrastructure and maintenance costs are reduced due to the low number of devices in the field. Following its market launch in Australia, the new battery inverter is now also available in Europe and the USA. (nhp)
