Goldbeck Energie Optimierungs-System (GEOS) is the name of the software that will enable consultants and planners to find the best concept for the building energy more quickly and easily. Within seconds, the programme calculates hundreds of scenarios and visualises the most promising in a way that is comprehensible even to laypeople. These then serve as the basis for the specialist's subsequent detailed planning. This gives customers more transparency in the decision-making process.
The first feedback received from users in real projects has been positive: The short computing time and clear diagrams make consultation much easier. The most economical acquisition concept serves as the default reference. The expert then narrows down the selection to the most interesting options, six at most. Goldbeck was supported by the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics (ITWM). For example, the scientists provided the statistical and algebraic calculation models that the software is based on. (mfo)
