In combination with energy management systems and ISO-50001 standards, simulations are developing into an important tool for planners throughout the entire process of building construction. In the ETU Software, dynamic factors of building operation as well as internal heat caused by people, lighting and equipment are taken into account. Typically, rooms with the same conditions are grouped into zones, which then have usage profiles assigned to them.
The result of the building and systems simulation allows conclusions to be drawn about the energy efficiency of a building over and above legal requirements. The energy requirement calculated on an hourly basis serves as the basis for the design of the building's installation technology. The Standard, Premium and Platinum packages are available from 59 euros per month, including updates. (mfo)
