The heat pump software communicates with the inverter via a standardised Modbus/TCP interface according to the Sunspec protocol. In this way, the available output of the solar system is matched with the output required by the heat pump, so that the solar power is used ideally.

Nibe's S series uses so-called inverter technology, which makes it possible to automatically adjust the output to the requirements of the building.
