Panasonic shows new M-series of Aquareas heat pumps

This is because the intelligent control system enables precise temperature control, multi-room management and dynamic electricity tariff optimisation, among other things. The M-series T-CAPs guarantee consistent heating output for renovations ranging from single-family homes with nine to 16 kilowatts to apartment blocks, commercial or industrial buildings with heating outputs of up to 30 kilowatts.

With a new controller, up to ten of these heat pumps can be cascaded, increasing the output to up to 300 kilowatts. Just like the smaller appliances in the M series, the large Aquareas also feature T-CAP technology, which keeps the heating output constant even at extremely low outside temperatures of down to minus 20 degrees Celsius. In addition, the use of the environmentally friendly refrigerant R290 ensures a future-proof and sustainable solution.

The Aquarea Loop system is another recent addition to the Panasonic programme. A decentralised R290 heat pump system that has been specially developed for apartment buildings. (nhp)
