Inverters are considered to be the brains of the solar system. They are also at the heart of any self-consumption system. They are the link between hybrid power generators (photovoltaics, CHP, fuel cells) and storage batteries (DC or AC). Solar cooling and the generation of process cooling are also becoming increasingly important.
The tours on integrated energy focus on innovations and new products to use solar power as effectively and cost-effectively as possible for hot water or heating, process heating, process cooling and air conditioning. The pv Guided Tour will take you through the halls of Intersolar and EES Europe in Munich.
For example, protection from overheating of buildings in summer is playing an increasingly important role. The power requirement for cooling and air conditioning usually coincides exactly with the yield profile of the solar generators. This optimises the amount of solar electricity consumed by the user, as thermal use and storage offer a sensible complement or alternative to storage batteries.

Each of the tours has a specific topic and the number of participants is limited. Participation is free of charge. The tours will be offered in German on all three days of the trade fair (15-17 May 2019) and in English on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The groups will be led by an expert editor. Product managers, engineers and sales experts will be on hand at the stands of the cooperating companies to present the innovations and answer the participants' questions. Each tour lasts about two hours and will start at the photovoltaik und pv Europe stand in Hall B1, Stand 209/309.
Participation is subject to prior registration. Registration includes free access to the four trade fairs that make up The smarter E Europe. Headsets are available for the guided tours. (HS/mfo)
