FuturaSun has expanded its range of solar modules yet again. Now it includes three versions of its most popular line, Silk Pro, a monocrystalline module with 120 PERC multi-busbar, half-cut cells, especially designed for the most demanding architectural applications. Until now, FuturaSun had offered the Silk Pro as an All Black module for installation on facades or exposed roofs as well as other BIPV applications.
To stay up to date with the demands of architects, FuturaSun now offers the Silk Pro in three new colours: silver, orange and red. The Silk Pro Silver are modules that combine all Silk Pro technology with a light silver metallized glass sheet. The frame is available in both aluminium and black, or in other colours on request. The silver modules are available from 280 up to 295 watts, in standard sizes 1038x1755x35 mm.
Orange and Red for historic restoration solutions
At the same time, FuturaSun introduces two other coloured solutions: Silk Pro Orange (240 to 255 watts) and Silk Pro Red (230 to 245 watts). These coloured panels are well suited for renovations that need to be installed on traditional roofs with brick tiles, or for use flanking historic architecture in town centres, where a harmonious appearance is desired. They are ideal for use on pitched roofs, but also for compositions on facade elements in innovative contexts, also in terms of light and colour.

All coloured versions have the advantages of the standard Silk Pro modules, based on monocrystalline half-cut multi busbar cell technology. The module is made up of two independent sections, so that the module ensures more power in case of partial shading. Furthermore, thanks to the excellent temperature coefficient, the panel produces high yields even at high operating temperatures. The product warranty is 15 years, while the performance warranty is 25 years. (mfo)
