Efficiency:

More power without cell gaps

These modules with Qantum Z technology close the cell gaps and utilise the roof surface more effectively. By closing the gaps between the cells, the module efficiency is increased by four per cent in relative terms, resulting in an overall efficiency of up to 21.1 per cent, according to the manufacturer.

The number of cells included in each module size has also been increased: the ML-version has 132 half-cells, 12 more than a standard module, and delivers a module output of up to 395 watts. The XL model now has 156 half-cells instead of 144 in the previous version and delivers up to 465 watts. The XL version is 8.3 cm longer, one kilogram heavier and just as wide as the previous product generation.

The smaller BKL combines 120 half-cells in a smaller area than most conventional modules, delivering up to 345 watts of output and an overall efficiency of 20.8 per cent. This all-black module weighs only 17.5 kilograms. (mfo)
