Lightweight PV module under nine kilograms

Sunman develops innovative lightweight modules without cover glass. Now, for the first time, the Chinese company is presenting the new SMF520J-12x12uw module with 520 watts of output.

The monomodule has 144 half-cells and weighs only 8.6 kilograms. This makes it around 70 per cent lighter than a conventional glass module and allows it to be installed on roof surfaces with low load-bearing capacities. This makes solar options possible for many companies with lightweight halls.
