According to the Institute for Renewable Energy (IEO), there are about 2.1 thousand projects on the Polish PV-Market with connection conditions for larger PV systems connected to the grid, which were awarded in 2010-2018. The total capacity of these photovoltaic projects exceeds 2 GW.
Great potential for installations up to 1 MW
"There is a great deal of interest in facilities up to 1MW, which requires the presentation of specific technical and administrative issues related to regulatory compliance, planning, installation, network connectivity, monitoring and service," says Dr. Stanislaw M. Pietruszko, Chairman of the Polish Society for Photovoltaics.
At which stage of development is the Polish photovoltaic industry located? Will it be possible in the near future to exploit the potential of the PV market in Poland? Everything indicates, yes. The photovoltaic market has entered a phase of dynamic change, which is very important in the context of renewable energy sources.
This topic will be comprehensively presented at the International Trade Fair for Renewable Energy RE-Energy Expo which will take place from 11 to 13 October 2018 in the Expo XXI Center in Warsaw.
Warsaw as meeting place for PV experts
The number of solar systems is increasing. On the one hand, you can ask yourself, "How big is the progress?" On the other hand, we all know that the potential is definitely bigger. Will it be used? During the International Photovoltaic Conference in Poland, which will take place in Warsaw Expo XXI Center on October 12, 2018, it will be possible to speak with experts. Warsaw will be once again a meeting place for the photovoltaic industry from Poland and abroad. Co-organizer of the conference is the Polish Society for Photovoltaics. The invited representatives of the European Commission and SolarPower Europe will present the global PV status and trends in its development.
Practical installation aspects of PV systems
The prosumer sector will be also the subject of the conference. The growing number of small plants will lead to problems between investors, installers and distribution system operators. The obligation to agree on construction projects with fire protection as well as new financing options for PV systems is discussed. The conference will focus on practical aspects of installing PV systems.
"The International Photovoltaic Conference in Poland is taking place for the eighth time and has been always very well received by participants” says Małgorzata Bartkowski, Project Manager RE-energy.
The content-related events on photovoltaic topics are complemented by an interesting range of companies from the PV industry. The fair will include manufacturers and distributors of PV modules, inverters, mounting systems, safety systems, electronic components, measuring instruments and equipment.
RE-Energy Expo is a platform for expert meetings in the field of renewable energies. The fair is characterized by an extensive content that stimulates discussion and search for innovative solutions. Three trading days are filled with three days of international conferences and industry forums discussing issues relevant to the RES market. This year's accompanying event will cover the most important topics, which include photovoltaics in addition to: biogas, electric cars, energy storage, energy efficiency and energy-efficient buildings. In addition, tradition has traditionally enabled the development of a network of valuable business contacts in the business networking zone. (HCN)
