About 36,000 modules with 405 Wp from the Chinese manufacturer Talesun were installed on 15.6 hectares. With a total output of 14.7 megawatts, this will supply 6,750 two-person households per year.
The construction work - from the access road to the transfer station - was carried out by the French group Bouygues SA. The construction management was carried out by P&T Technologie.
5.15 cents per kWh
The project was successfully tendered two years ago and construction began in January this year. The electricity produced will receive a payment of 5.15 cents per kWh, which has been secured for 20 years. The projected annual yield is about 16.2 million kWh.

Uta Kanira, project manager at Energiequelle, is proud of the project: "With the realisation of Decize, we successfully relied on proven and experienced partnerships. Working closely together, we were also able to deal with the logistical challenges of transporting the modules overseas and safely meet the schedule. With the experience gained from this successful implementation, we can now move on to the following projects. Nevertheless: the first one is and remains something special for all involved."
Energiequelle has already successfully implemented photovoltaic projects in Germany, Spain and Italy in recent years. Operational management is currently being taken over for 22 plants. (mfo)
