With 430 and 440 watts of output, Bauer is going one step further than its previous Premium Protect series. The manufacturer promises a degradation of just one per cent in the first year.

The new module type weighs 24.5 kilograms and is certified in accordance with fire class A, IEC 61215, IEC 61730 and IEC standard 61730-2 (UL 790). The glass-glass module comes with hardened anti-reflective glass. This minimises the risk of micro-cracks.

The two new variants are also equipped with N-type Topcon bifacial half cells and hardened anti-reflective solar glass as standard. The modules also come with a 30-year performance guarantee, backed by Munich Re. The new glass-glass modules are expected to be available within the first quarter of 2024. (mfo)
