The double glass module uses a bifacial cell with Topcon N-type technology and, according to the manufacturer, achieves an energy yield up to 30 per cent higher than conventional cells. The optimised temperature coefficient in the cell technology also enables an increase in output on very hot days. The module also achieves excellent output in low light conditions such as sunset, cloud cover or twilight.

There is a white print between the cells, which enables an additional increase in performance due to the higher light reflection. The Mono S4 module is therefore almost transparent. The otherwise completely black appearance emphasises the design claim of the Solar Fabrik modules. It is suitable for use in both the residential and commercial sectors. The new module in the first series has a total output of 440 watts. (mfo)
