The large mono-modules are available in two versions with 120 half-cells and 370 watts yield or with 144 half-cells and 450 watts. The installed half-cells absorb the incident light to the maximum in order to generate the highest possible yield.

A so-called HTAR glass ensures reduced reflection and an electricity yield five watts higher than conventional solar modules. To ensure that the modules also withstand adverse conditions when used in outdoor applications, they are not only subjected to stringent tests. When constructing the modules, LG already relies on a light and at the same time robust design. This results in a maximum load of 5,400 Pascal on the front of the module. Nevertheless, the modules of the Mono X Plus series are comparatively lightweight modules. (mfo)
