149,94 kW PV installation at a gas and service station close to Mostar airport. The yield is 20% higher than calculated.

Luxor Solar is reporting a growing solar market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially for smaller installations up to 23 kW. Self-sufficiency is a big topic due to grid stability problems

2015 Luxor Solar commissioned a 149,94 kW PV installation at a gas and service station close to Mostar airport in 2015. Installed are 612 Luxor Eco Line 245 Poly solar modules and SMA inverters. EPC was Energetic-Electronic Doo from Medjugorje.”With 220 MWh the yearly yield is 20 percent above expectations”, Nino Sijeric, Business Development Manager at Luxor Solar says. Calculations were 1,250 kWh/kW.

FIT of 24 Eurocents/kWh

The solar power is fed 100 percent into the gird. It is reimbursed with 0,47 KM/kWh (BAM), this is around 24 Eurocents/kWh. Additionally a small self-consumption installation with 4kW is installed as a backup for the petrol pumps of the station.

Two other 180 kW installations commissoned

Luxor Solar commissioned 2x180 kW solar modules for two further installations. “The solar market will be further interesting, especially for micro installations up to 23 kW we see growing demand”, Sijeric says. “Grid independence is a big topic. A lot of companies have problems with grid stability and connections points”, he adds.

Together with his EPC partner Energetic-Electronic Doo Luxor also sponsored a environmental clean-up project at the Adriatic Sea. With 60 divers from Bosnia/Herzegovina and Croatia the seabed in Blace/Croatia (near Ploce, Metkovic) was cleared. (HCN)
