As with all Modules from IBC the Monosol 300 VL underwent an extensive series of tests in the firms own laboratory before it became a part of the portfolio. Regular quality assurance and process audits guarantee a particularly longevity of the modules, as well as the performance, efficiency and therefore security of investment. The IBC Monosol 300 VL4 is expected to be available this summer, said IBC.
IBC Solar's first smart module, the IBC MonoSol CS4 Smart, is also a new addition to the company's module portfolio. The IBC MonoSol CS4 Smart combines the patented optimiser technology of Tigo. A power optimiser integrated in the junction box enhances the power production of a PV system, for example if a system falls short of its optimum performance due to shading.
Moreover, the IBC Monosol CS4 Smart can be switched off separately through a PV safe button. An additional benefit: the Monosol CS4 Smart allows for more options in terms of wiring, giving installers more flexibility in the designing and installation of PV systems and therefore enabling a better utilisation of the roof’s surface. The module is also responsible for real time monitoring, making operation and maintenance safer and more efficient.
