Depending on their size, the glass-free modules from Green Akku have an output of 60 to 160 watts and weigh no more than 3.4 kilograms.

The new Lightair solar panels from Green Akku are characterised by their low weight. In the glass-free module, the individual cells are overlapped like roof tiles.

This arrangement means that more solar cells can be accommodated in the same area, which increases the efficiency of the module. They are also suitable for installation on balconies. The panels have the same stability as a framed glass module at a much lower weight. The solar cells are protected by an ETFE coating. This has a handy magnifying glass structure that additionally focuses the sunlight. The saltwater-resistant material is also suitable for marine applications.

The Lightair modules are raised off the frame, giving them better ventilation. Depending on their size, they have an output of 60 to 160 watts and weigh only up to 3.4 kilograms. The solar panels are mounted with conventional mounting sets for framed modules and are available from 119 euros. (mfo)
