The Hi-MO X6 Artist solar module by Longi has 108 half cells and weighs 22.5 kilograms. The new double glass module LR5-54HTDB has an output of 420 to 435 watts. The maximum module efficiency is therefore 22.3 per cent.

Power degradation is said to be 1.5 per cent in the first year and only 0.4 per cent per year thereafter. This means that after 30 years, the module's output will still be 86.9 per cent. The manufacturer also offers a 25-year product guarantee and a 30-year performance guarantee. The new Artist module is already available. (mfo)
