The NU-JD440 has 144 half-cells of wafer size M6 and has a rated output of 440 watts with a module efficiency of 19.9 per cent. This reduces the BOS costs per installed watt for all components involved and offers lower power generation costs, or LCOE for short, as well as a higher return on investment.
The new module features 9-BB (multi-busbar) technology, which uses round wires. This increases the power gain of each individual cell and makes it less sensitive to micro-cracks. As a result, a higher reliability of the module is achieved.

All half-cell modules from Sharp have three small junction boxes, each of which is equipped with a bypass diode. The junction boxes transfer less heat to the cells above them, thus increasing the durability of the modules and the overall performance of the system. Certifications according to IEC61215 and IEC61730 attest to the quality and safety of the module. (mfo)
