The factory new will include production lines with an annual output of 300,000 tonnes of industrial silicon, 150,000 tonnes of high-purity polysilicon, 35 gigawatts worth of monosilicon, 10 gigawatts of wafer slices, 10 gigawatts of cells, 10 gigawatts of modules and 15 gigawatts of auxiliaries for modules.

The project will be divided into two phases. In phase I, due to be completed by the end of 2023, the expected annual output is expected to be half of full capacity. Phase II, due to be completed by the end of 2025, is expected to see about two thirds of the eventual annual output. (mfo)
