Available in 300, 305 and 310 watt power classes, the SolarEdge smart modules are comaptible with SolarEdge inverters to provide all the benefits of SolarEdge, plus faster and easier PV installations than before. SolarEdge is now able to provide installers with a module-to-grid solution from a single source. This means installers can benefit from both simplified logistics and a streamlined warranty process. Benefits of the smart modules include a faster return on investment, improved design flexibility for enhanced aesthetics and more modules on the roof, module-level monitoring with real-time performance information, as well as better safety with the embedded SafeDC technology.
Serial number on the front
As with all SolarEdge products, the smart modules undergo guaranteed quality control. They are produced on a fully automatic production line by a solar module manufacturer listed as Tier 1 by Bloomberg. The 12-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty cover SolarEdge smart modules for performance, workmanship and replacement parts.
As an added feature, the serial number is printed on the front of the module to enable easy scanning, even after the array has been mounted. This facilitates uploading the system layout into SolarEdge’s monitoring platform. (mfo)
