This is because the module market is continuing to segment. Polycrystalline modules achieving similar performance levels as standard monocrystalline modules. The efficiency of monocrystalline high-performance modules continues to climb further and further. Bifacial modules are also playing an increasingly important role, as are modules with integrated power electronics in which the DC optimiser or even the inverter (AC modules) is integrated in the junction box. A new addition are management systems for the operation of solar parks.

Each of the tours has a specific topic and the number of participants is limited. Participation is free of charge. The tours will be offered in German on all three days of the trade fair (15-17 May 2019) and in English on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The groups will be led by an expert editor. Product managers, engineers and sales experts will be on hand at the stands of the cooperating companies to present the innovations and answer the participants' questions. Each tour lasts about two hours and will start at the photovoltaik und pv Europe stand in Hall B1, Stand 209/309.
Participation is subject to prior registration. Registration includes free access to the four trade fairs that make up The smarter E Europe. Headsets are available for the guided tours. (HS/mfo)
