The solar roof tile features appealing aesthetics with a relatively high energy yield as well as easy installation and maintenance. The new variable cover length of the roof tile gives the roofer more flexibility, as he is no longer bound to a fixed dimension in the substructure. This is particularly interesting for roof renovations with variable substructures.

Target applications for these roof-integrated solar systems are private roof installations with complete new or replacement roofing, properties in redevelopment and listed areas and houses with limited roof loads.
