Sharp Energy Solutions Europe (SESE) has been recognised with the EUPD ESG Transparency Award 2024 for its strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. The award is based on Sharp's Corporate Sustainability Report 2023, which highlights its dedication to transparency, sustainability, and responsible corporate practices. As part of the broader Sharp Corporation, SESE plays a key role in supporting the company’s global ESG goals through consistent engagement.

The report earned Sharp high ratings across various ESG categories, resulting in an overall score of 87. Transparency achieved the highest mark at 93%, underscoring the company’s focus on open reporting. Environmental responsibility followed with 92%, reflecting efforts to reduce environmental impact, while compliance scored 89% for meeting ethical and regulatory standards. Social responsibility and corporate governance also performed well, with scores of 85% and 83%, respectively, highlighting Sharp's focus on people and ethical management.

Teruji Matsushita, General Manager at SESE, emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting Sharp Corporation’s sustainability strategy.
