The web portal Solar Age has already been online for a year, offering architects and construction planners a wealth of information on building-integrated solar technology. The focus is on in-roof systems, solar tile coverings and solar façades. A database of current products and reference buildings completes the service.
For example, for the 2019 pv Guided Tour, Solar Age presented the advances in thin-film technology (Nice Solar Energy) and in organic photovoltaics (Opvius). Networking opportunities within the young BIPV industry were also illustrated.
