In the first quarter of 2018, solar projects with modules from Solar Fabrik with a capacity of total 26 MW started operations in Turkey. These projects were commissioned in the provinces of Mansia, Usak, Malatya and Bayburt.
Import permit obtained
Solar Fabrik is one of the few international solar module manufacturers to have obtained an import permit from the Turkish Ministry of Economy. The import permit is highly desired by foreign suppliers, as the Turkish government is making an effort in the important PV market to encourage domestic producers to strengthen their position in the Turkish market.
High demand for quality products
Due to the high demand for premium quality German modules in Turkey, Solar Fabrik is confident that it will further expand its strong market position in Turkey, the company announced. SF Solar Fabrik develops and produces PV modules in Freiburg Germany. (HCN)
