With its 540 watts, the new NB-JD540 offers low LCOE. Depending on site conditions, the bifacial technology can increase the module's output by up to 25 per cent. The NB-JD540 has a module efficiency of 20.9 per cent and has 144 half cells of wafer size M10. The module is suitable for a system voltage of up to 1,500 V and is printed with white reflectors in the intercell spaces on the back of the glass to increase light absorption on the front. The temperature coefficient of -0.349%/°C ensures output even at high ambient temperatures.

To prevent potential-induced degradation (PID) on the back of bifacial modules, a high-performance encapsulating film with a combination of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) and PEO (polyolefins) is used. The NB-JD540 uses 10-busbar technology with round wires. The dimensions of the NB-JD540 are 2278 x 1134 mm with a 30 mm aluminium frame. Front and rear glass are each 2 mm thick and the module weight is 32.5 kg. It comes with a 30-year performance warranty and 15-year product warranty. (mfo)
