The modules of the Premium line are available in two configurations: 120 third cells with an output of 390 to 410 watts and 150 third cells with an output of 490 to 510 watts. The module with 120 Perc-Multi-Busbar G12 third cells is particularly suitable for small photovoltaic systems. The novelty of the cell lies in its larger format of 210 millimetres with the so-called 1/3-cut technology.

Compared to the traditional half-cut technology, this reduces the operating current and the internal resistance and thus improves the overall performance. Because the 1/3-cut cells are smaller, they are actually exposed to less mechanical stress, which reduces the risk of micro-cracks and hot spots. In the new premium line, the distance between the cells is also reduced from two to 0.8 millimetres.

The new 120 cell module measures 1754 by 1098 by 30 millimetres, and weighs only 21 kilograms. The new series has also received the certifications IEC 61215, IEC 61730, Factory Inspection for safety and quality from Dekra. (mfo)
