The IBC (Interdigitated Back Contact) technology, which places the electrical contacts on the back of the solar cells, light absorption is at its maximum as the absence of ribbons and busbars maximise the available cell surface and reduce shading to zero.
The new module consists of 132 high efficiency 166mm (M6) N-Type half-cut cells with a new layout that allows a reduced module size (1895×1039 mm) while still reaching a power output of 430 watts and an efficiency of 21.84 per cent.

Also, there is a low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C as well as good performance under low-light conditions and partial shaded contributing to module yield. The ZEBRA module also performs well at various inclinations making the module suitable for installations as part of a soler facade.
93 per cent performance after 25 years
The solar module comes with a performance warranty of 99 per cent after the first year and 93 per cent after 25 years, which is also the product warranty period. The Zebra cells are more resistant to LID (Light Induced Degradation) and LeTID (Light and elevated Temperature Induced Degradation), as N-Type cells are doped with phosphorus and not with boron. The Zebra cells also do no degrade under UV light.

The new series is available with white back sheet and black frame or in an all-black version, with black back sheet and black frame. The latter is particularly suitable for residential use and also for buildings of high architectural value. (mfo)
