The new cell technology has been very well received by Solarwatt's installation partners, says Peter Bachmann, who is responsible for Customer Solutions at Solarwatt. "Topcon solar modules have a higher output compared to the current Perc cell technology. This means more energy is available to homeowners, which is an important sales argument in the view of installation companies," emphasises Bachmann.
Topcon modules deliver more output
Perc modules are currently still primarily used in the solar industry. In the p-type solar cells are installed. The n-type cells of Topcon modules are significantly more powerful in comparison. This increases the efficiency of the entire solar energy system. The glass-glass modules from the Dresden-based company are available as bifacial half-cell modules in the variants style from 420 watts and pure from 425 watts output. They have a robust 35 millimetre aluminium frame.

Solarwatt offers a 30-year product and performance guarantee on the double glass modules. The Topcon half-cell modules in the glass-foil version in black (from 420 watts) and pure (from 425 watts) are also equipped with this aluminium frame.
