OPES Solutions are thus dispensing with the use of this heavy metal, which, despite its problematic properties, has so far been used in many production methods. The new off-grid solar modules are equipped with monocrystalline cells and have an output of between 3.6 and 180 watts. Material expertise and flexible production enable the use of a wide variety of materials in layered construction, selected according to the intended use of the modules.
Both standard solutions and individual designs are available for frames, junction boxes, plugs and cables. Thanks to its pioneering role in the development and application of environmentally friendly off-grid solar modules, OPES have already been able to win partners such as Biolite as customers. Biolite will use the new modules for the first time for its 2020 products. (mfo)
