Solar modules

Trinasolar's Vertex N recognised for bankability by TÜV Rheinland

The modules underwent a series of rigorous tests as part of the process, receiving an overall positive result. This is a powerful endorsement of the quality, reliability and durability of Trinasolar’s n-type module portfolio, and provides further proof of the extensive benefits for global buyers, procurement teams and bank financing services that invest in the company’s products. The outcome has laid a solid foundation for the expansion of Trinasolar’s presence in the global market.

TÜV Rheinland conducted its tests based on the Bankability 2 PfG 2940 standard. These tests included thermal cyclesequencing, sequential mechanical stress testing, sequential stress testing on module rear side including UV radiation, damp heat sequencing, potential induced degradation (PID) testing, UV-induced degradation (UVID), light and elevated temperature-induced degradation (LETID) detection and optional PAN file examination.

The module performed especially well in the thermal cycle sequencing, sequential mechanical stress testing, sequential stress testing on module rear side including UV radiation and LETID test, displaying extremely low levels of attenuation. This aligns strongly with other tests conducted by Kiwa PVEL in 2023 and the Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) this June. (mfo)
