The new Vertex series is now in mass production. It has already received IEC certification from TÜV Rheinland after passing all reliability tests. According to the manufacturer, Trina Solar, the module efficiency is up to 21.6 per cent. The higher output thus reduces the costs for the system components (BOS costs). The new Vertex module is therefore particularly suitable for large-scale solar power plants. Compared to other modules up to 500 and more watts in the industry, the cost savings are at least 0.01 to 0.012 euros per watt, according to Trina Solar, which represents a significant overall advantage.
