In a joint project with E.ON Hungaria, Audi provided the roof area of its two logistics centers, each around 80,000 square meters in size, for the construction of the solar energy park. E.ON installed the 35,000 solar modules which have an output of 12 megawatts and is now operating the system. The solar park will supply over 9.5 gigawatt hours of renewable energy annually. This is enough to supply up to 5,000 households with electricity each year and reduce CO2 emissions by around 6,000 tons. (mfo)
