The sun2MobiDes is completely self-sufficient and runs exclusively on solar power. In this way, it can be set up in front of hospitals, nursing homes or other facilities as well as office buildings or on company premises where, in the era of the corona pandemic, hygiene and disinfection are of particular concern. The container consists of two separate disinfection areas and a hygiene chamber. The energy is supplied by high-performance solar modules. An integrated energy storage system temporarily stores excess solar power. This allows the disinfection container to also be used at night. An energy management system ensures uninterrupted and autonomous operation.
Up to eight people can disinfect themselves at the same time in the container - four people in each area. Disinfection is carried out by means of an aerosol mist that is triggered by pressing a button. Various water-based disinfectants can be used. Result: the user is disinfected within 30 to 40 seconds.
